Kathryn Robb

New York, NY

June 15th, 2007

Kathryn Robb of New York, NY graduated in June from Pace University with a Master's degree in psychology. A 2000 graduate of the Shipley School, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, she went on to graduate from Villanova University in 2004. After graduation from Villanova, she worked with Child, Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware, an organization which provides care for disadvantaged children while new homes are being sought. She began working on her master's degree in the fall of 2005. While at Pace, she completed a practicum at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City, and presented original work at national conferences in Michigan and San Francisco. Beginning this fall, she will be pursuing a doctoral degree in psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she is hoping to specialize in neuropsychology. She would like to continue her work with children. Kathryn's parents, William and Marita Robb of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, are happy to have her back in Philadelphia.

"I can't believe I'm finished with the master's degree- these two years have been amazing, and they have flown by! I finally feel like I have some direction, and I have a good idea of what I would like to do with my degree. School begins (again) for me in August, and I am both nervous and excited to have this opportunity. It's a long road ahead, and I can't wait to get started! Leaving New York will be sad, but I'll be back."
